Regardless of your feelings about war or the current administration, you should respect the sacrifices made by the men and women of the United States Armed Forces while fighting honorably under the U.S. Flag. As a nation, we have a duty to make sure that they are taken care of properly when they return to civilian life. We must make sure that they are not subjected to the horrors of war, in our name, and then subjected to abandonment and abuse when they return home. This website will record their lives as veterans using news reports, blog posts and video. Hopefully, it will show more good than bad. Hopefully, the bad will be seen as a national disgrace and acted upon.

First, I'd like to thank our veterans for their service to our great country. I'd also like to thank all those who supported our veterans and their families for many years. After retiring from the military I went into private practice in the financial services industry where I ran a successful business. During this time, I realized there was a tremendous need to simplify the process for locating information for our veterans past present and future. I'm excited to bring you a new state of the art website that is dedicated to our veterans, their family and friends. VetUSA was created after many years of development as a single source, easy to use network for veteran businesses, their family and friends. Through our experience and extensive research we have found it difficult if not impossible to locate vital accurate information regarding veteran benefits and special veteran programs. VetUSA is different because it is designed to be your home page. News, weather and access to educational information, social networking, business directories and a robust internet mall that is very easy to use. And best of all, it's free to join. We're also very excited to bring discounts on retail goods, travel and benefits to our members, their families and friends that support our veterans. We encourage each of you to tell family and friends about VetUSA.com where everyone is welcome. Once again, welcome …From:vets002Views:30ratingsTime:01:57More inEducation

Unfortunately, most of these families are unaware of an important benefit available through the Department of Veterans Affairs to which their loved ones may be entitled. It is called Aid & Attendance. While we do not provide services regarding determining eligibility and applying for Aid & Attendance Benefits, we can refer you to an Elder Law Attorney when you are ready to determine whether you or a loved one qualifies for Aid & Attendance Benefits.1 For qualifying veterans, Aid & Attendance is paid in addition to the basic pension rate for seriously disabled wartime veterans who have limited or no income, and who are age 65 or older, or, if under 65, who are permanently and totally disabled. Some key things to know about the Aid & Attendance benefit Aid & Attendance is a pension benefit and is not dependent upon service-related injuries. Wartime veterans and their surviving spouses may be eligible. Certain medical and financial requirements must be met. Aid & Attendance can help pay for care in the home, nursing home or assisted living facility.
